Description
Garant's ReelEasy wall mounted narrow profile hose reel comports an integrated winding guide and is designed for a 4-ft connecting pipe with a solid copper coupling. It is sold fully assembled and has a capacity of 100-ft for a 5/8-in hose. This product is backed by a 2-year limited warranty. (The garden hose is sold separately)

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed from Junk I didn't realize that the reel I purchased was cracked until I got home. I immediately went back to the store to exchange it. I inspected the second one for cracks and after standing in line and going through the ridiculous exchange process, I headed home. Installed the reel on the wall and attached the hoses. Turned on the water and the reel leaked from the connection in the back. Had to dismantle the whole installation. Looked at the connection in the back and noticed the clamp was stripped and not tight. Also, the connection into the center leaked. Will return this one tomorrow and try to find anything but an Ames product to replace it.

Finally it developed a leak in the plastic water pivot piping assembly. Going to the Ames/True Temper website I was pleasantly surprised to find that the unit was still in production and that parts were available. But no price was given. So I filled out their on line form expecting to be mailed a quote. There was no quote: The part was free. No hastles, nothing, even though the reel was a decade old. Great product support.

Rated 5 out of 5 by force95 from Great Hose Reel I have owned many hose reels and for the price, this is by far one of the best. It's easy to roll and unroll, doesn't leak, and it blends in well. The colors blend with many popular house colors so the reel doesn't become and eyesore. The last one I purchased lasted 8 years before I needed to replace the water assembly (which was available for Free from Ames). Ames is much better quality than the Suncast hose reels sold at the Big Orange competitor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by monkeldad from Ames hose These are made and sold every where by either Ames or Suncast. the Ames though looks to have a similar design as a Suncast they hold up much better and wont leak with time and is USA made! this is my second AMES and have had 3 of the suncast.

I wish there was a way to reverse the main unit so the hose can be pulled right to left instead of the left to right configuration as shown in the picture. Other than that, I think it is a good value. We'll see what happens after a season in the Arizona sun on how durable it is.

Rated 2 out of 5 by makhoul22 from Doesn't fit 100-ft hose I bought this and a Neverkink 100-ft hose and it does not fit on here. Only about 75-80 feet of the hose fit on and then it spill over the edges and scrapes up against the hose guide and get kinked and stuck, making it useless for a 100-ft hose. The reel wheel could also use a handle on it.

The exact replacement was no longer available so I opted for this one since it would mount on the side of the wall. I should have continued looking. The handle pulled off the first time I reeled the hose. I still may return it.
